Asalamu Alaykum Beautiful
if you’re a creative, you’re in the right place
Being a creative means that you’re abundant
Being a creative means that you’re joyful, passionate, and full of imagination
Being a creative means that you’ve got stories inside of you and ahead of you
Being a creative means that you’re ready to spread your wings, and fly
I’m so excited to have you here!
A little about me
I’m that girl who grew up reading books during class while the teacher was teaching, shhhh👀
I’m the one who would get lost in a world full of imagination, full of possibility. I used this as a way to escape, escape my reality, escape my thoughts, and escape life.
I clung to characters, emotionally attaching myself to their perfect world
Externally looking for perfectionism, having unbelievable standards
I used to overthink, feel lonely, feel misunderstood
No one would understand me, but the ink on page or the vibrant oil paints on sheet
That is, until, I confronted myself, confronted my pain
Writing for me has always been a beautiful way for me to express myself, express my thoughts
Reading was another way for me to learn about others, and learn about their experiences
It is these two hobbies that made me realize the power of thoughts and how those thought patterns can change the trajectory of your life
Acquainting yourself with others through reading is oh so humbling and enlightening
It makes you realize, you’re not alone
There’s so many like you and they’re reading to share in the journey with you
The overthinking, the tossing & turning, don’t have to loop in your mind forever
I honestly used to think I was cursed, why was I thinking so much and how was everyone able to move through their life with what seemed like relative ease?
I thought it was the curse of the creative
Creatives can only be sad
But boy, was I wrong
Once I healed, once I stopped romanticizing pain, writing odes to pain, normalizing pain
Allah SWT rewarded me, He rewarded me with good health, He gave me a business that I love, He sharpened my intuition, He grounded my self-concept, my self-assuredness
He gave me a platform where I could write and increased my ‘ilm
He increased the love of my loved ones to me
He gave me Tawakul, Taqwa, & a Beautiful Sabr (12:18)
He made me yearn to spread good, spread my knowledge
He made me want to give to others
He allowed me to tangibly feel His presence around me
I feel Him in my mundane moments, when I drive my car, talk to my loved ones, and even pick out clothes for the day
He’s there. He calms me. He steadies my heart, in the same way that He did for Musa’s mother RA
These tools Allah SWT gave me, namely, my intuition and the ability to read others, has given me the ability to coach others on their mindset using Quranic principles
Here’s the secret, the more you work on yourself, the more Allah SWT opens doors for you
The more you heal your traumas, and do real inner work
You’ll notice that your heart feels lighter, and your steps feel more confident
And this is exactly what happened to me!
I built a business as mindset coach
I got accepted to an Ivy League University with over $12,000 dollars
I healed my chronic back pain
Allah SWT financed my dream trip to Mecca
I have an abundant life full of a supportive community of women
And!
Everyday, Allah keeps blessing and surprising me!
You are destined to be a Wealthy, Content, & Wise Woman
No matter who you are, and how long you’ve been struggling with your mindset. Women are meant to be taken care of by Allah. Numerous times in the Quran, Allah comforts and provides for women immediately. He does not want you to tire or sacrifice your mental or physical health for this life.
Allah SWT says in the Quran to Maryam AS,
“So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: “Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day” (26).
“And We inspired the mother of Musa: Suck him (Musa), but when you fear for him, then cast him into the river and fear not, nor grieve. Verily! We shall bring him back to you, and shall make him one of (Our Messengers)” (7)
So, what are you waiting for sis?
